Los Angeles, CA – March 23, 2012 – Get ready for a real “thriller” as E! News gives viewers the opportunity of a lifetime with a never-before-scene look inside Michael Jackson’s former estate. E!’s Giuliana Rancic joins listing broker and television star Mauricio Umansky as E! News goes inside the King of Pop’s mysterious, $23.9 million 17,000-square foot French Chateau-style home this Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 and 11:30 PM on E! News. Immediately following the tour, the video will be available in its entirety on E! Online (www.eonline.com).
The 7-bedroom, 13-bathroom home is finished with high-end amenities such as a theater, wine cellar with tasting room, an elevator, 14 fireplaces, a spacious spa with gym and a large swimming pool, and sits on over an acre in the prestigious Holmby Hills real estate market. The listing broker for the mansion, Mauricio Umansky, gives Giuliana a never-before-seen tour with some real estate insider details, including how they screen clients to make sure they are wealthy enough to purchase the house before even seeing it.
Umansky says “I knew him, and my wife [Kyle Richards] has been friends with Michael Jackson since she was 8-to-10 years old. And I personally think there’s some great energy in the house. I’m excited to be selling it. Michael Jackson was an amazing human being — he changed music as we know it. Unfortunately, he passed away. It doesn’t take away from the house.”
In the days following Michael Jackson’s death, fans flocked to the Holmby Hills, California home he was renting to pay their respects. Two and a half years later, E! News is the first to take you inside. Tune in this Friday, March 23rd at 7:00pm and 11:30pm.
As a huge Michael Jackson fan, I couldn’t be happier with Mauricio being the one sailing Michael Jackson last home. Even though I’m sad to see it go, I trust that he’ll sale it to somebody that will appreciate what Michael Jackson brought to this house. And I know that Mauricio appreciates what Michael Jackson not only brought to this house but more importantly to life. And as Mauricio said he personally knew Michael Jackson, so who better to sale his last home then a friend of his. So I couldn’t be happier with him sailing it, so let’s wait & see who ends up lucky enough to live where Michael Jackson lived his last days.
Anybody to end up with this house should consider themselves so lucky. And they’ll always have a guardian angel by the name of Michael Jackson watching over them. So that’s a double blessing if you ask me!
